More people invest in you. Call me biased, but I believe personal brand photography isn’t just a “nice to have.” It’s crucial to positioning yourself as the expert that you are. It tells the world that your business is more than just a hobby, that you take pride in what you do, and that you care about providing a superior client experience. Best of all: premium branding attracts premium clients.
A crazy thing happens when you invest in your business …
What kind of premium clients are we talking about?
Imagine having a waitlist of people excited to work with you; people who don’t bat an eye at your prices! They immediately understand the value of what you’re selling because they see you as an expert in your field. Of course, many factors contribute to your overall brand. But given how visual people are and how quickly first impressions are formed, personal brand photography is a must!
Get ready for fun.
I’m super organized and a stickler for details, so when we work together, every part of the process will be seamless. But don’t worry; my favorite feedback is when clients tell me how much fun they had during our session. My goal is to help you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera too. Even if you’ve never had a brand shoot or normally hate being in the spotlight, I’ll show that you can love the experience!

A. I work with new and established business owners who understand the value of investing in professional photos. Whether you sell a physical product or online service, your audience wants to connect with you – not just stock images. Professional brand photos help people get to know you and your offers better, so they’re more apt to trust you and purchase from you. Brand photos also immediately elevate your brand, taking it from DIY to more polished and premium.
A. Of course! I’ll make sure your personality shines through so that people can see you as the fun, relatable expert that you are.
A. No worries. When you book a personal branding session with me, you’ll receive a consultation before our session. During our consultation and through a series of questions, I’ll guide you on figuring out your brand and the big WHY of what you do. This information will help me customize a worthwhile session for you and your business.
A. Ideally, you should book a new brand session for each new season. This will ensure you have enough photos for marketing purposes. If time or budget is an issue, twice a year works as well. You should also consider when you might be rebranding, offering new services, promoting a course, or undergoing any other changes in your business.
A. I serve clients in Rockland County (NY), Orange County (NY), and Bergen County (NJ).
A. It varies and the options are endless! We can shoot in a home office, coworking space, outdoor park, nursery, coffee shop, gallery … you name it! You can choose whatever fits your brand (and personality) best. If you have an idea for the type of location – i.e., by the water – but you don’t have a specific place in mind, I can provide recommendations.
A. Absolutely! It’s completely normal to feel awkward or silly at the beginning of a brand session. Most of us aren’t used to getting so many pictures taken of ourselves! But I can assure you that soon after getting started, you’ll feel more at ease and will even enjoy the experience!
A. I do! It’s been an honor to capture families and their most special moments. Whether you’re an expecting parent, a new parent, or you simply feel like it’s been way too long since your family has been photographed, I can help. Contact me at jessicajanephotos@gmail.com to learn more about my family photo sessions. Prices for this service begin at $400
So, you’ve officially booked. Thank you! I’ll start by sending you a detailed questionnaire to get to know you and your business better. This will lay the foundation for the next five steps.
Based on the answers to your questionnaire, I’ll create a custom Pinterest board for you, complete with a suggested shot list and possible shoot locations. This will be emailed to you before our consultation call.
Next, we’ll hop on a one-hour phone or video call to discuss the answers to your questions, look over your shot list, and confirm your shoot location. We’ll also talk more in-depth about your goals for our time together.
Before your session, we’ll collaborate on a shared Google doc with your shot list and schedule for the day. You’ll also receive a custom style guide to prepare for your shoot. By this point, we’re just making sure we’re on the same page and are good to go!
At last, your day has arrived! Your brand shoot will be completely dedicated to you and your amazing photos. I’ll maximize our time together by taking a mix of candid and posed shots, different outfits, a variety of props, and more.
After your session, I’ll carefully cull and edit your best photos and ensure you have a well-rounded selection. Within two weeks of your shoot, you’ll receive a link to an online, password-protected photo gallery that lets you download your images. You’ll walk away with both high-resolution and pre-sized images for social media – and beyond!
Note: My photos are natural, timeless, and true-to-life. I do minimal edits so that the images still look and feel like YOU – just enhanced with better lighting and a trained eye.
“Jessica was so much fun to work with. She really takes the time to learn everything about you and your business. Jessica made it so much fun that I felt like we were just hanging out, taking pictures. I highly recommend Jessica as she will put her all into your session and make you feel incredible.”

“Jessica took my photos for a personal branding shoot, and I had such a great experience with her! Before the shoot, she sent me a comprehensive list of tips to prepare for the day and ideas for props to bring with me, which made preparing much easier. She was encouraging and kind, she really made me feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she has a great eye for locations and composition. I got so many beautiful photos from her; I don't even know where to start! Would highly recommend working with her to craft imagery for your business.”
– Casey
“Not only is Jessica an amazing photographer, but she is also the nicest person around. Our session together was like two old friends hanging out, making jokes, and laughing. My photos are superb and catch the essence of who I am, especially since they will be used to market my blog. Thank you, Jessica, for such a great day and amazing photos! The frigid cold did not stop us and I'm looking forward to doing it again when the weather gets warmer!”
