Photo Session Locations for Rockland County, NY

My Top 3 places to for photography sessions in Rockland County, NY

Here is just a quick list of a few of my favorite photography session locations.  I’m always open to any suggestions my clients have in my mind.  But I’m here to find the perfect location for your session’s needs.  Let’s get to it, first up is one of the my favorite places…..

1. Harriman State Park – One of my all time favorite places to photograph any kind of session.  Harriman State Park is the 2nd largest state park (47,527 acres) filled with 31 lakes, 3 beaches, hiking trails, campsites, and of course wildlife.  There are few specific spots that I love during the fall season but honestly, any time of the year is magical there. Here are some photos from sessions taken at Harriman State Park.  Tons of different spots and variety to photograph families, individuals, mamas to be, you name it! 

   

2. Elk Pen – This is still part of Harriman State Park but located in Orange County.  I love this area because there is a beautiful field and old trees. Can’t you just picture your family running through this field! 

   

3. Bear Mountain State Park – This park is easy to get to, it’s right off of Route 9W located on the border of Rockland and Orange County.  There is a lake, large field and wooded areas all with a beautiful mountain as a backdrop. Lots of different options when photographing here.
